Application of wear-resistant ceramic drum coating in coal terminals

Belt conveying is one of the main ways to transport materials at present, but in coal terminals, ore terminals, steel mills, power plants and other large and hard working conditions, the drum rubber cover wear is serious. The use of ordinary rubber rollers, will soon be worn through, need to repair or even replace the drum, and wear-resistant ceramic roller rubber coating greatly improves the anti-wear ability of the drum, prolongs its service life, saves a lot of costs, wear-resistant ceramic drum coating also has waterproof and moisture-proof, increase friction, prevent slippage and other superior performance, special porcelain production of ceramic roller coating has been selling well for more than ten years, recently in a coal terminal and highly praised by customers.



First, the structure of ceramic roller coating:



1. Cold adhesive wear-resistant ceramic roller coating: This coating method is to first make independent small pieces of ceramic and rubber sheet into ceramic rubber plate through the vulcanization process, and then paste the ceramic rubber plate on the drum by cold bonding. Each ceramic piece has a raised character, and under normal belt pressure, thousands of uniquely cast bumps can actively pull to prevent slippage and extend the life of the conveyor belt rollers. At the same time, the elasticity of the underlying rubber can play a good impact resistance.



2. Overall hot vulcanization wear-resistant ceramic drum coating: the overall hot vulcanization process and cold adhesive process are quite different, cold adhesive is to paste multiple ceramic rubber plates on the drum, and the overall thermal vulcanization process is according to the drum size directly rubber and ceramic using thermal vulcanization process to complete the coating, the rubber is a whole, there is no gap in the middle. There is not much difference between the two in anti-wear, impact resistance and other properties, but the overall thermal vulcanized ceramic drum coating can be better waterproof and moisture-proof, and the resistance to harsh environments is stronger.

Second, what are the advantages of the overall thermal vulcanization wear-resistant ceramic roller coating?



1. Ceramic high wear resistance, effective protection of roller and rubber: ceramic with protrusion vulcanized on the rubber surface, avoiding rubber is directly rubbed, but also protects the drum, the high hardness of ceramic makes it have excellent anti-wear ability, improve the overall anti-wear performance of the roller rubber.



2. Special structure to prevent belt misalignment and slippage: After a period of wear, the surface of the traditional rubber anti-wear layer becomes smooth, which is easy to cause the belt to slip and mistrack. The surface of the ceramic sheet has convexities, high roughness, and the friction coefficient between the ceramic and the belt is large, so it is not easy to slip and misalign during continuous operation.



3. Extend the service life of the belt and drum: Under the same load, the ceramic drum coating can reduce the tension of the belt and extend the life of the belt. Whether it is cold adhesive or hot vulcanization, Jingcheng has a mature process, which can make the rubber covering and the roller tightly combined without falling off, and the service life of ceramic roller rubber covering is more than 10 times that of rubber roller.



4. There are grooves between ceramics, which is convenient for drainage and sewage discharge: each ceramic rubber board has grooves separated by a certain distance, which can make the foreign matter (dust, soil) on the drum discharge along the groove, so that the drum has a unique self-cleaning function, especially suitable for humid working environment.



5. Convenient installation: the construction process is mature, simple and short. After the steel structure is done, an installer can generally complete the installation of a ceramic drum covering within 1 day, without delaying the customer's production, and convenient for users to put into production in time.
